Working With Chris

Where we Start

Figuring out what you need, when you need it, and what your budget is in time and money, are all part of  the discovery process up front.

I Can Start from Nothing

For some clients, they are stuck in the weeds. They don't know what they need, and are paralyzed to start. They can't agree on what's needed, or they're not sure. I can help with that. I've workshopped with clients, from scratch to help design a digital user experience, whether it's a web site or app.

I Can Work From Where You Are, Too

I can also help if you need to update what you already have. Let's fix what's not working, and enhance what is working.

Patient Questions, Heading Off Trouble

Part of my problem solving value, is I do great questions. My process for understanding your project needs, is to ask questions, lots of questions. More often than not, I'm asking questions that nobody on your team has asked. That comes from hard-won bloody-knuckle experience on my part. Benefit from my mistakes, so you'll never have to make them.

Independent Execution

Once we agree in the timing, and the deliverables, I can work independently without any hand-holding. Of course, my communication on status, or more importantly any open issues, is clear and frequent.

Flexibility

The only constant in business is change. Projects always change along the way. Deadlines get tighter, features get added last minute, and changes in scope happen randomly. I've got experience in responding and accommodating change, and providing clever solutions to cover the new items as they come up.

Cool in a Crisis

Those inevitable bad days happen on a project, when everything hits the fan. I can stay cool, calm, and collected, while everyone else is losing their head. I may go scream in the backyard when I get home, but on the job, I remain poker-faced, solving the problems.
